Budget – The total cost of the work was £1500.  This was spent entirely on building materials.  Two volunteers raised this money and visited Uganda in December 2003/ January 2004 to help local volunteers carry out the construction work.  The local community provided bricks and sand.

Fund raising activities – The three peaks challenge.  Hiking to the summit of Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Mount Snowdon in one weekend.

Interesting fact - The project was completed on budget and in time to allow the school children to use the classrooms when they returned from their Christmas holidays.
